I’ve been improvising for the last 5 years. For many of those years, I played regularly with a variety of house teams at my home away from home, the Westside Comedy Theater. Improv is a GREAT skill to have. It’s especially handy when you attend a date auction fundraiser, and a quarter of the way into the show, the organizers ask you to jump on stage and host.
You read that right. Host. On the fly. An event I intended to attend as a guest and spectator. Turned out to be a super fun night, and over $3,000 was raised for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. So thank you, to my wonderful friends and co-hosts, Diallo Jackson and Bally Randhawa (pictured with me, below), for the opportunity to play Host/Pimp for a very worthy cause. I had a blast, and I hope everyone who attended did too!
