It might be crazy for someone to willingly get up early in the morning to pound the pavement and trails with miles of running. But for me, it’s something I love to do. I’m super grateful that I can even do this at all. (And with these fun people!)
For the past 4 weeks, I’ve been training with Team in Training to run the LA Marathon in March, and getting back into marathon shape (especially after last week’s Thanksgiving feeding frenzy) takes some time and patience. And several alarms. (Getting up early is not something that is natural for me.)
Last weekend, we ran 5 miles on a gloomy, drizzly LA morning, and this weekend we’re increasing the mileage. All in the quest to raise $2,500 to fund cures and services for those living with blood cancers. To read more (or to donate), click here.
