Happy New Year!

January 2015 is not just the start of a new year…it’s also my BIRTHDAY! Well, it’s my company’s birthday.  See – three years ago today, Ratana.net was born. The project – the idea to become my own boss – was years in the making, but the official launch date was January 3, 2012.

On that day, I celebrated by having lunch with a dear friend, and toasting my independence with burgers and champagne. It’s been a crazy, wonderful ride, and I’m so grateful to you for following along and supporting this journey.

I am passionate about helping my clients tell the best stories they possibly can – so they can inspire and influence others in their chosen sphere of work. Whether it’s getting more comfortable networking with strangers or giving a talk at a trade show or in a board room, being able to speak compellingly to audiences large and small is a skill that can be learned. (And it doesn’t have to be scary, either!)

Past clients have used their newly gained skills to successfully crowdfund a film, refine their personal branding and compel an audience of over 2,000 people to sell product.

If this is a skill you want to work on in 2015, I would love to help you reach your professional goals. Birthdays are a time for gifts, so here’s my gift to you: Let’s work together, for FREE. From now until January 29th, I’m offering complimentary 45-minute 1-on-1 STORYTELLING STRATEGY calls.  We’ll talk about what your goals are, and what aspects of presenting and networking work for you, and where you might be struggling. And I’ll offer you some ideas and tips on how to work through those areas so you can become a more compelling communicator.

If you’re a team leader, we’ll talk about your team’s goals, and where they excel and what aspects of communicating need some polish. I’ll offer you some coaching tips to help your team become more effective.
