What does it mean to Say Yes?

Logo_SayYesPodcast Author, coach and motivational speaker Jack Canfield says, “Everything you want is on the other side of fear.”

I’m with him on that idea. So, the idea of saying yes is an intriguing one. It means (to me), that you’re taking action, even if you are scared. Because you never know what’s waiting for you on the other side.

In this case, “saying yes” meant going on the adventure a lifetime: spending a month traveling solo through South America. On that trek, I visited Peru, Brazil and Argentina. Even my tango instructor in the Los Angeles thought I was nuts for traveling to Lima (Peru) alone. (Spoiler alert: No Ratanas were harmed during this adventure. I’m even here writing about it 4 years later.)

But that’s what saying yes does: it means you follow your own path, despite (or regardless) what others think.

It’s a quick listen, and please excuse the audio issues. We had some technical difficulties during our session that affected the audio quality here and there. The voiceover actor in me is cringing at not sharing a perfect audio file with you, but – breathe – it’s okay. I hope you’ll still enjoy the conversation.
